In addition to those neighborhoods, the school serves the neighborhoods of Corona, Elmhurst, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Jamaica, and Kew Gardens. Their core values are relationship, citizenship, scholarship and leadership. In first graduating class in 2014, 100% of the graduates were accepted to college, including Barnard College, NYU, Boston U, Babson College, Carnegie Mellon Univ, Northeastern Univ, SUNY.

Also, recently, kids who were in other Specialized high schools for their freshman year who ended up transferring to Queens Metro because they didn’t want to put up with the commute, having a great school in their area.
