This didn't feel forced and was notably authentic and warm. I only wish I had gotten some more wine earlier to sit back and watch the show! The property and facility are the epitome of "tropical". Every bure (villa) had private beach access. We intended for this honeymoon trip to be an extravagant, one time experience that we splurged on. Singing was common and by the end was really appreciated (initially felt awkward but realized this is just part of the warm Fijian personality). You could cool down the whole villa if you opened the connecting door to the sitting area but it didn't cool as well. Sunset deck chairs to watch the sun setting in the evening were perfectly placed on the edge of the grounds looking out at the ocean. The villa also had a private infinity pool which we swam in daily and cooled off while watching the turquoise ocean just a short walk away. Unfortunately, I cannot get the photo edited right way up. It was a really cool experience to just hang out in the middle of the beautiful Fijian ocean. Tokoriki is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, renewal of vows, proposals & elopements. We will definitely be back soon and I understand how people have gone 30-50+ times. It makes me happy with a twinge of sadness to realize that there is nowhere else in the world like Tokoriki. We miss Josua's singing and Moses on the string drum. The portions were perfect so you didn't overdo it, never feeling so full on the delicious food that you felt sick but always satisfied. An extra AC unit in the villas for the sitting room. Activities: we tend to not really participate much in a lot of activities when on vacation (preferring to relax, read, enjoy each other), but we did enjoy the complimentary kayaks, snorkel gear, floating dock to swim out too and kayak from, as well as the hike behind the resort to the hilltop that gives a beautiful 360 view of the islands. The musicians were good with typical Fijian songs and the greetings and farewell songs sung by the staff was tear jerking.
